Chaquita makes her leisurely way to the goat pen every morning. The rest of the herd charge down to get their grain, but being low goat in the pecking order Chaquita gets none of that. So instead she munches on fresh green things until she is carried unwillingly to the pen.
So far we have avoided the glossy world of the chicken hatchery catalogs, instead waiting for the delivery to our local feed and grain store.
